The
fair is back! In fact both exhibitors and public got amused
and enjoyed the benefits of the fair... especially those
who gained cash!
Fans de Sport are therefore proud to offer again the opportunity
to propose, discover and try any new kind of fun in the
mountain environment.
The amazing landscape of the mt Cervino is the ideal place
for any fun activity. You will meet us at the heights of
Plateau Rosà (3500 m), between the glaciers or in
the heart of the green Breuil valleys. You'll have the opportunity
to try the newest innovations in recreational
sport, or to join many lovers of the other exciting traditional
activities.
Since over three centuries
Aosta Valley is witnessing the birth of the most innovating
mountain fun disciplines and is offering matchless hospitality
to those who make the full safety challenges their own vocation.
40 exihibitors of sport material
and equipment, found place inside the 2400 square meters
area of the fair, divised in 2 pavillions and 5 topic areas.
During three days they introduced 26 disciplines, even allowing
the visitors to try four brand new disciplines: skimbat,
speed tennis, crevasse descent, high altitude camp.
Seven top level exihibition
have entertained hundreds of spectators, alternating first
person experiences of the newest mountain fun disciplines
to the thrilling shows of expert performers. The shows interested
disciplines such as acrobatic quad, acrobatic bicycle, indoor
trial, acrobatic parachute, contests of remote-controlled
helicopters, airplanes and cars, static and acrobatic kites.
In addition, four sport meetings coloured the fair: quad,
trial motorbykes, 4x4 offroad, paragliding.
The
head toward the sky
Single and
tandem paraglide flight, hot air baloon flight acrobatic
kites, remote-controlled airplanes contests and acrobatic
skate kept our visitors' heads toward the sky, bewitched
from the emotion to watch and practice alternative activities,
in full safety just in the middle of a spectacular landscape.
Feet and wheels
firmly on the ground... or at least nearly
For ground adventure lovers, we offered
practical demonstrations of golf, archery and laser trap-shooting,
speed tennis lessons, guided mountain bike tours with
the Italian Champion Corrado Hérin, horse riding,
enduro and trial motorbykes excursions, 4x4 offroad and
quad excursions, right to the meet point near the lakes
of Cime Bianche (2.803 m).
Water right
to the throat
Demonstrative excursions along the Marmore
river let our visitors, attracted from the magical and
crystalline water gushing out of our mountains, to experience
rafting, kayak, hydrospeed, canyoning and diving beneath
the icy blue lake.
Sliding above
the clouds
Over the magnificent glacier Gobba di Rollin
we teached ski, snowboard on the half pipe track, dirt
surf and Kite-ski, we offered furthermore a skimbat demonstration
(a new finnish discipline), the emotion of a bob competition
start, a run on a slee-dog, a slide on an airboard, a
descent in the deep of a crevasse in full safety, a night
in a high altitude camp and ice climbing at the dry tooling
wall.
For everybody
The jumping castle let everybody make neverending
pirouettes and figure acrobatics, meanwhile the adventure
trip, with its tibetan bridge and the tirolienne attracted
hundreds of visitors showing them how young and funny
the mountain can be!
Mass media coverage
of the event
The mass media followed the fair with much
more than a simple interest.
Between the national television network we remember: RAI
1 (TG1 at 20,00 on 29,07,2002); RAI 3 Aosta Valley(service
on TG3 at 19,30 on 27,07,2002); Mediaset Rete4 (service
during the TG4 at 19,00 on 30,07,2002); La 7 (three services
during the transmission "Sportissimo", on 13,07,
20,07 and 05.10.2002).
Between the foreign television networks: SFR Suisse Romande
and Eurosport.
We had numerous national radio networks introducing broadcasts
dedicated to the event : Radio RAI 1, Radio RAI 2, Radio
Antenna Centrale and Radio Proposta, besides the ones
of our sponsor radio networks: Radio Dimensione Suono,
Radio 101; Radio Reporter, Radio Club and Top Italia Radio.
A hundred of press articles appeared on the national and
regional press and on the specialized websites: the daily
papers "La Stampa" and "Tutto Sport",
the weekly magazines "Specchio" and "Sette",
magazines like "Donna Moderna", "Monte
Bianco Outdoors", “Delta e Parapendio”,
“www.8000.it - Il quotidiano della Montagna”,
“Quad Adventure”, “Snowbox.it”,
